The heart of West Village is service. In fact if you are looking for a motto at WVCC it's this, "Enter to Worship, Depart to Serve." Since it's inception over 150 years ago WVCC has been a volunteer driven church, and that hasn't changed in generations of worshipers. If you are looking or ways to volunteer, scroll down and see the different ministries that are still made possible at West Village through the help of our members just trying to be the hands and feet of Jesus.

Volunteer Areas

Worship

We are always looking for individuals with musical talent with an instrument or who love to sing who would like to be a part of our worship team.

Youth

There are multiple areas in our youth ministry for you to volunteer in.  Jr. and Sr. High youth sponsors for our Sunday night youth program, or our Sunday night youth program for K-5th graders. Sunday School teachers. Any many more.

A / V Worship

Digital Presence

If you love technology and audio equipment you could help in our AV department making the worship experience for everyone one that brings us closer to God.
The reality of the day is Social Media and online presence, so if that is something that you are passionate about we can always use help making sure that our members are up to date and know about the latest news from WVCC

Special Events

If your schedual doesn't allow for every week service in a specific area, we also have speical events like 5th Quarter in the fall, and pop up service opportunities.

Greeting and Hospitality

Are you a people person with a welcoming personality, and a desire to make new people feel like they belong? Those who are a part of our welcome team are the first faces new people see and are an integral part of our church community.
